Biography
Professor Nguy锚n Kh么i Nguy峄卬 is an interdisciplinary artist and educator. His cartoons have been featured in The New Yorker and 惭肠厂飞别别苍别测鈥檚. Professor Nguy峄卬 is the vocalist/pianist of the jazz trio, Superior Cling, and creator of Mom鈥檚 Viet Kitchen, a cooking website that shares family recipes and the stories behind them. The Baker Prize, a Rubys Artist Grant, and an Independent Artist Award are among Professor Nguy峄卬鈥檚 accolades. Previously, Professor Nguy峄卬 served as the senior video producer/editor at Science Magazine. As a digital media professor at 麻豆官网首页入口, he teaches video, graphics, animation, comics, and more.
Professor Nguy峄卬 studied visual art at The Cooper Union, earned a B.A. in Music and Integrated Arts from Bard College, an M.M. in Jazz Piano from the University of Maryland, and an M.F.A. in Studio Art from Towson University. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland, with his wife and two sons.
