In June of 2022, Peggy O鈥橬eill, professor of writing, and Raenita Fenner, associate professor of engineering, were awarded a two-year grant from the National Science Foundation to research the quantitative literacy of engineering students with the ultimate goal of helping educators prepare students for success in college engineering programs. The $125,000 grant will support their project, 鈥淐ollaborative Research: Research Initiation: Defining Engineering Quantitative Literacy.鈥 You can read more about it here.
